Indigestion
Fullness, discomfort or heaviness after eating, sometimes with nausea — usually a signal about meal size, timing and the state of mind at the table.
Reading the signal
Indigestion is often the body reporting that a meal was too large, too rushed, too late or eaten under pressure. Occasional episodes are common; a repeating pattern is worth mapping.
Steadying it
Fixed meal hours, freshly cooked and easily digestible food, thorough chewing, no screens or arguments at the table, and a genuine gap before sleep. If discomfort is persistent or comes with weight loss or vomiting, see a doctor.
Please note
This page is general wellness education, not a diagnosis. Persistent, severe or new symptoms — and warning signs such as blood in the stool, unexplained weight loss, fever, repeated vomiting or anaemia — need a qualified healthcare professional. Our guidance works alongside your doctor's care, never in place of it.
Each condition page clearly states that diagnosis and medical treatment require the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
