H. pylori
A bacterial infection of the stomach lining linked to gastritis and ulcers. It is diagnosed by testing and treated medically — lifestyle care runs alongside that treatment.
Diagnosis and treatment
Helicobacter pylori is confirmed through breath, stool, blood or endoscopic testing, and treated with a specific course prescribed by a doctor. Completing that course exactly as prescribed matters; partial courses are a common reason treatment fails.
Alongside treatment
Regular meals, easily digestible food, avoiding alcohol and smoking, and managing stress all help recovery and comfort. Any wellness guidance here is supportive only — the treatment itself is medical.
Please note
This page is general wellness education, not a diagnosis. Persistent, severe or new symptoms — and warning signs such as blood in the stool, unexplained weight loss, fever, repeated vomiting or anaemia — need a qualified healthcare professional. Our guidance works alongside your doctor's care, never in place of it.
Each condition page clearly states that diagnosis and medical treatment require the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
